Analysis of an Area using Illustrator

The two diagrams below represent an Open space analysis and a Play Space analysis. 
The aim of these diagrams is to present the main local features which are currently in the area and how development will have impact on the existing surroundings. The site that is planned to undergo development is highlighted within the red line. 

Open Space Analysis:



                                                           
Play Space Analysis:

The Play Space analysis below represents the different types of play areas within the local area of the surrounding development site. The analysis highlights the different spaces, such as the parks that are classed as LEAP areas, LAP areas and NEAP.

LEAP is a : Local Equipped Area for Play
NEAP: Neighbourhood Area Equipped for Play
LAP: Local Area of Play

Project 2: ROBERTO BURLE MARX

PROJECT 2: ROBERTO BURLE MARX ROBERTO BURLE MARX: 1909-1994 He was a Brazilian Landscape Architect, as well as painter, ecologist, naturalist, artist & musician.  His designs of Parks and Gardens made him famous.  He is accredited with having introduced modernist Landscape Architecture to Brazil.  Burke Marx's work has had a great influence on tropical garden in the 20th Century. Water gardens were a popular theme of his work. He had a skill of transferring traditional artistic expressions such as graphic design, tapestry & folk art into his Landscape Design. He was one of the first people to call for the conservation of Brazils Rainforests. Illustrator Practice

Each week I spend two days working in a multidisciplinary practice, working alongside the landscape team gaining invaluable knowledge and skills on my journey to becoming a landscape architect. Today I focused on creating a constraints and opportunities diagram for a site in Croydon in which  we are working on.
