Practice Zonal Diagrams

Below are two Zonal Diagrams I have created for a project I am currently helping to work on in Tunbridge. The two diagrams show the new ecological footpath that is going to run through the a site. The site is part of an ancient woodland so this has to be taken into consideration when developing and new proposals for the existing land. The purpose of the development is to encourage the use of the woods by schools and local education groups in the surrounding areas to get children in particular enjoying the local wildlife and nature. 


Above is Option 1 showing where the existing gate is and where the path will finish, but only some residents will be provided with back gardens.



Option 2 proposes the idea of moving the gate further left of the original so that back gardens can be provided for all residents.

Project 2: ROBERTO BURLE MARX

PROJECT 2: ROBERTO BURLE MARX ROBERTO BURLE MARX: 1909-1994 He was a Brazilian Landscape Architect, as well as painter, ecologist, naturalist, artist & musician.  His designs of Parks and Gardens made him famous.  He is accredited with having introduced modernist Landscape Architecture to Brazil.  Burke Marx's work has had a great influence on tropical garden in the 20th Century. Water gardens were a popular theme of his work. He had a skill of transferring traditional artistic expressions such as graphic design, tapestry & folk art into his Landscape Design. He was one of the first people to call for the conservation of Brazils Rainforests. Illustrator Practice

Each week I spend two days working in a multidisciplinary practice, working alongside the landscape team gaining invaluable knowledge and skills on my journey to becoming a landscape architect. Today I focused on creating a constraints and opportunities diagram for a site in Croydon in which  we are working on.
